Magellanic Cloud unveils drone for agri & logistics
It has also announced its annual financial results for FY23

Hyderabad: City-based Magellanic Cloud unveiled its agri and logistics drones in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The ‘Made in India’ drones are operated without human guidance.
The company’s drone products include logistics drones, agri spraying drones and custom drones. The logistics drones have operational range from 5km to 60km and can carry cargo payloads between two to 100 kgs. The logistics drones are fully autonomous and can execute complex logistics missions without human pilot. The agri spraying drones come in several sizes and allow farmers to cover their fields more efficiently.
Magellanic Cloud also announced its annual results wherein the consolidated revenue from operations increased by 37.23 per cent from Rs 282.77 crore in FY22 to Rs 387.50 crore in FY23. The PAT increased by 151.61 per cent from Rs 29.45 crore in FY 22 to Rs 74.10 crore in FY23.
Sudheer Reddy Thumma, CEO, Magellanic Cloud, said: “In the past year, we have made significant acquisitions, including iVIS International Private Limited, Provigil Surveillance Limited, and Scandron Private Limited. These acquisitions have allowed us to become leaders in the video-based e-surveillance and drone segments. Our expertise in e-surveillance systems, combined with our advanced delivery and surveillance drones, will allow us to expand into sectors such as defence, agriculture, pharma, e-commerce, real estate, and retail.”
Thumma further said that Magellanic Cloud has completed Stage-2 testing in the heavy-duty logistics drone segment and are ready to demonstrate capabilities for defence needs as well.
The company ventured into the drone designing, developing and manufacturing from 2022.
